The fountain can also provide warm chocolate that can be ladled onto dessert bowls for ice cream, puddings or cake or can be "shot" down with your favourite liquor added to it.
Our platters can be customised to include your favourite dipping foods (fruit and sweets) which can be a fantastic time saver. Please note that some fruits may be seasonal and not available all year round.
We have two size platters:
Small Platter - $125
Large Platter - $200
All out platters are FRESH and made to order!
Whatever you decide to offer your guests, don't forget that tastes are very different so it is probably the best to offer a selection of fruits and sweets so there will be something there for everyone to enjoy.
We can provide a complete range of dipping foods however if you have organised your event via a caterer or venue, we will happily coordinate with them. You can also provide you own dipping foods that have been prepared and we will set the display up.
Please note: If you are providing your own dipping foods it is advised to check in with us first to see if it is suitable to use with the fountain. Some foods will crumble and will fall into the fountain causing blockages or alter the consistency of the chocolate.
TIPS:
- Skewer strawberries through the green ends first (they will stay firmly on the skewer). You can also "lock" slippery fruits like bananas on the skewer by putting marshmallows or strawberries on the skewer last.
- When placing your selection of fruit/sweets on the skewer, ensure the skewer is angled up when dipping it in the chocolate to prevent the items from falling off the end.
